The Austin Winery a is boutique, urban winery and tasting room, 10 minutes from downtown Austin. As a small urban winery, we rely solely on family-owned growers, from the best growing regions of Texas & California to source our grapes. We handcraft our artisanal wines in small lots, ensuring delicate blends with nuanced flavors of fruit and spice, balanced expertly with acidity and earthiness. Our AVA designate wines are pure expressions of their terroir, something we take great pride in. CEO & President, Ross McLauchlan, has focused the young team's efforts on making approachable, high quality wines that fit with Austin's culture, climate, and cuisine in a snob-free setting.

I really enjoyed the winery - they have grapes both from Texas and California. The people working were knowledgeable. The cheese plate was amazing. I really liked their zinfandel. Dog friendly too!!!

We walked down to this winery after visiting the nearby St. Elmo's Brewery. Both are located in "the Yard." While my partner is a bit of a wine connoisseur I'm a novice, yet the bartender took time to explain to me the complexities of all...More

Wether you have a big or small group this place is wonderful. The staff are so friendly and very knowledgeable about the different wines, the food truck has some good food selections. Great way to spend a afternoon.

We tasted two wines and were impressed with what they have accomplished. We also loved the dogs! A real treat!

We randomly decided to visit this place on a whim. Walked right in and sampled the wines. Pleasantly surprised. Service was good, wine was better. Worth a visit. Violet Crown for the win!

I have been to a lot of winery in and out of the country and these guys here were so welcoming. Allowed us to take 5 different wines. My favorite is Tawny Port.

This is a relatively new urban winery. Several of their wines are pretty good and they source their grapes mostly out of state but a few from Texas. Their prices are a bit high but still a fun place to visit.
