Have frequented this show over the years. There is such a variety of skits, magic, singing, craziness. This show is worth every penny. Always a great time.

Great mix of skits, singing, outlandish behavior, and pretty cool magic tricks all together in a vaudeville like show. Very entertaining. This is Austin, the liberal oasis in Texas so if you don't mind the conservative bashing it is lots of fun. Bring a thick...More

Definitely worth checking out when you're in Austin and looking for something fun to do. Very funny these days with all of the political content. Not the best show for people who are really conservative - politically, socially, etc. Every topic is fair game in...More

We have been to this show at least 10 times over the past 9 years and it's ALWAYS such a fun time! Ray, the magician, is really amazing, especially with characters like Cuban Pete and The Amazing Frank... so, so, so, funny and SO talented....More

This is our 3rd visit to Esther's and never disappointing. Several in our group of 8 had never been. We all laughed out loud all through the show, which is fast paced and filled with current event humor and magic.

We went back for the second time recently. As always, the political arena is the setting for the show. And, right now couldn't have been a better time with Hillary and Trump going at it. Extreme satire on both sides. It's fun, it's raunchy and,...More

This is a sketch comedy place act with many different sketches similar to SNL but with many of the the routines set to music. There is a little magic but the real stand out is the comedy. It is up to date and current to...More

We have seen Second City shows, Upright Citizens Brigade and Capitol Steps and this is as good as any of these. Great variety of music, comedy and magic. The inclusion of activities seen on the street through the big picture window behind the stage adds...More

A perfect place to spend a few hours and to entertain out of town friends. The songs and skits will bring back many fond memories of days gone by. After the show, take time to enjoy the vibes of the famous 6th street, especially the...More

Whether it would be comedy with a twist if fun both for current, popular and nostalgic anecdotes ; an enjoyable evening with either family, friends or on a date. Not exactly your mild entertainment and certainly worthwhile to attend at least one or more performances.

The shows on a weekend are the same. However, the script is modified every week to cover different current events. Where I see the most consistency is with the magic act. But, these are always good and always enjoyed... More

It was largely a liberal crowd and liberal-oriented humor, but far less biting than a lot of what you might see on late-night television. If you ever find this sort of humor funny I expect you will enjoy the show.
