My 2 sons aged 11 and 12 and I visited. A nice lady gave us an extra can of spray paint and we had so much fun leaving our mark. The artwork was interesting and awesome. My sons had a blast. Be sure and bring...More

If you're in Austin this is worth the trip. It was very hot out so we just pulled up and stayed in the car. Some of the artwork is really amazing.

Of all of the many murals in Austin, the Hope Outdoor Gallery takes the cake for being the most extensive. Every wall is covered with layer upon layer of brightly colored spray paint and so are the bushes, leaves, the ground, the steps, it's everywhere....More

I read mixed reviews, but being a mom to an 18 year old punk (I use the term endearingly!), we went to check it out. Lots of Cool spray paint art, some great work there, you just need to see past the tagging. It's messy...More

My husband and I went to check it out. Parking was not good (but you don't have to pay). Definitely wear tennis shoes or sneakers if you plan on seeing everything. The gallery is multilevel and one part you hike up a steep hill. While...More

Besides the parking it was a great location to hang out. But trust me, parking in Austin is not that great in general. This isn't a hidden gem, so super easy to find!

This place is really great to pop by, especially if you're walking. Parking is somewhat scarce. I recommend not wearing flip flops (which is what I did), because you have to do some climbing to get to the multiple levels (which is worth it to...More

It's a good place to express your creativity through spray painting. You'd need to climb/walk around hence wear good shoes and come with your own spray paints. The art is reflective of Austin's culture - keeping it weird! \m/

We visited Hope Gallery mid-day on a Thursday in June. Even then, there was quite a few people there. It is the same as Graffiti Park near downtown. Street parking only is limited and a challenge. We circled the area looking for a space a...More

See my review for Graffiti Park. As far as I could tell they are one and the same. This is a perfect stop on your way to or from Downtown and Mount Bonnell

Yes, walls of graffiti, actually, terraced up the hill. No admission, but a photographer, Jules, is something of a documentarian of the place and he sells photos of the work there on site. So, take a bit of extra money and... More
