Fun awesome place off the main block in Austin. Weird shows and cool exhibits. Amazing gift shop for those looking for something a little bit different.

Very cramped or adults and even more for a family of five with three children. The illusionist was very entertaining in the back of the tour. The very short, and abbreviated tour of the museum included 'very, very small courtyard,' a very, very small screening area and a very, very small everything!!!

I wasn't sure what to expect with this one but I sure enjoyed it! I love oddities and this museum is full of them, from mummies, to Bigfoot, to the attraction in the back! It's all so interested and my guide made it even better. If you love Weird, you need to come here!

Thought it seemed like an interesting place to visit but I wouldn't recommend it. The one exhibit that's supposed to be the star of the show (the "Ice Man"), isn't even realistic-looking. It was hard to see through the clear "casket" as it appeared that it has been thawed, frozen, etc. You could barely see anything, and what you could... More

The gift shop is bigger then the museum. Tacky show in the back. Not worth the $12 bucks. It is a tourist trap. On the 6th ave strip. Preying on drunk tourists and curiosity seekers. Nothing ther but stage props.

The only good thing about this place is the gift shop. Other than that you have literally two rooms - one full of badly-labelled props and a handful of oddities, then the much-vaunted "iceman" which is about as anti-climactic an experience as you could possibly imagine. You're forced to watch a godawful VHS video of the Iceman - which takes... More

A very small museum with pretty tight spaces. Some of it kind of neat, but no need to spend much time. They play an episode of the old series Unsolved Mysteries, ice man, not that cool. Definitely "weird". As stated in other reviews, the show at the end makes it. A very entertaining man, with a neat talent. Also a... More

I enjoyed my trip to this museum, so much so that I've been twice. While it is a little on the steep side for what it has it's a fun way to kill an hour. The majority of the tour will be done by yourself looking at shrunken heads/bigfoot prints and things like that in the museum but there is... More

The front part of the museum is just o.k. but once you get to the second part and the show at the end, that's where it gets interesting.

Very crowded store and museum. If you're comfortable walking on plywood this is your stop. Lots of false advertisement and rude employees. Biggest "exhibit" is a sham.
