We went to see GLove & SS followed by the Yonder Mountain String Band. Of course both acts were incredible, but gonna focus on the venue. The checkin process was easy as you got tickets at the window and a brief wanding/purse search before getting your wristband and heading in. The perimeter is lined with bar service and a far... During a work trip we chose this place based on the name (they sell Stubb's BBQ Sauce in the grocery store). The server greeted our table with waters and a big smile. He was fantastic! Potato Skins appetizer was good. Disappointed with their mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese and ribs. Bland! Also, they only offer one choice for... More

Great atmosphere and food to match. Fast good service. Was pretty slow on a Monday night in December but looks like a great place on a summer evening for live music and cold beer

Fun place to see a concert. Not too big. All standing unless you score a spot on a wall. If you insist on seeing the stage in full, this is not the best got that. All in all, a fun atmosphere with good beer selection to cool off on a hot summer night.

We ordered take out from Stubb's on our first night in Austin. We ordered brisket, sausage, pork ribs, and chicken. We got mac and cheese, fries, greens, and a salad as the sides. The brisket was DELICIOUS as was the chicken. I didn't care for the sausage or pork, but my hubby liked them. The mac and cheese super creamy.... More

Stubb's BBQ has got to be one of the oldest venues in Austin, Texas. Located on Red River, it tries to give you a home feeling when you walk in the door. I've not personally experienced the outdoor music venue, but I have been there a few times for the indoor venue. For wheelchair users such as I, everything is... More

Having eaten at some of the finest BBQ joints in the country, Stubb's in Austin was not very good. The only thing I can talk positively about was the collard greens. Everything else was subpar. The brisket was dry and the pork ribs were fatty. The sauce us blah. Parking is not easy to find near the restaurant. I suggest... More

Stopped by in the late evening near 10pm. We were quickly seated. The waiter was quick and freindly. Ordered the two meat plate ( brisket and ribs) dish with collard greens and sweet potatoes. Ther brisket was ok, but i will say the ribs were really good. The bbq sauce was good with a slight tangy taste. The sweet potatoes... More

This review is for Stubb's as an entertainment venue, not for the restaurant itself, where we did not eat. We came here recently for an evening concert and it was a great experience. The viewing area for the stage is relatively flat, so the stage was hard to see for a short person such as myself, but taller patrons will... More
