Overview
More
Established in 1975 by the late Clifford Antone, Antone's is an iconic blues and R&B venue located in downtown Austin. Over the past 40 years, Antone's has brought Austin a variety of blues and R&B musicians from across the country including greats like B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Jimmy Reed, and Buddy Guy, as well as help develop local talent including Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmie Vaughn, Bob Schneider, Gary Clark Jr. and countless others. In 2015, the historic brand was restored and a new team brought the iconic venue back to the downtown Austin landscape with a renewed focus on once again making Antone's the "Home of the Blues."

Have been to Antone's several times recently, & obviously there is always Great Music, like Red & the Hot Horns & Whitey Johnson, etc. But the thing I really noticed & liked a lot was how Friendly all the Staff was. That's not always the...More

Antone's has been around since 1975 and some of the greatest blues artists have performed here. It's a great performance space, has an excellent bar and still features rocking good music.

Yes, if you even think you like Blues, Zydeco, Rock, or just about any kind of great music, you must see a show at Antone's. Although known as Austins home of the Blues, last Friday's event with The Peterson Brothers and C J Chenier and...More

Best place to go for great live music shows. Some of the best blues musicians come through this club. Nothing like live blues. Wish some shows could start earlier. More seating availability would make it 5 star!

The acoustics are terrible, It is nothing more than a concrete box. They are trading only on the name from the original venue, which had character and decent acoustics. The band that we saw depended on excessive volume to make up for talent and musicianship....More

I rolled into historic Antone's for Cinco de Mayo. It was a first time, and for all of its hype, it is not a bad place to be! Darkened atmosphere. Polite employees. Good times for music, dancing, and any celebration to be had.

We paid cover and then after 3 songs, were told we would have to pay difference to hear next set. Ask how many songs or how long the set is before paying cover. We took our business elsewhere! The three songs we heard were awesome...More

This was our first visit to Antone's and we arrived early and wondered where we had ended up. It was a closed garage type door with posters plastered all over it. They opened it at 7PM and we wandered deeper into the building. We were...More

We saw Miss LaVelle White and it was a terrific show. She is an icon in the blues scene. The club has a nice dance floor, quite a few tables and a bar area. The restrooms are nice too.

We stopped by on a mid week night and was pleasantly surprised by the house band playing an early show. No cover that night so we lucked out. We enjoyed it so much we stayed for set with the next band. Great place full of...More

Hi Kimberly! At this time we only offer Zapp's chips. You are welcome to bring in your own snack and there are many great restaurants in the area.
