Great place to see a show!! We have been to two shows here now and have had a great time at both. They offer drinks and snacks that you're not supposed to take into the show but people did anyway. We have sat on the main floor and in the center of the first balcony and both views were good.... More

It is a beautiful venue. Lighting and sound are top notch. Seats are clean but could use a comfort upgrade, or a premium section with more comfortable seats. Overall great venue just be prepared for an ache in your posterior... make sure you stand up at intermission.

My husband and I came here on a Friday night to see Jerry Seinfeld. We decided to use a rideshare instead of dealing with parking so I can't comment on that. The line moved decent getting into the venue. Before the show we purchased drinks. The lined moved slow but it was more or less the people purchasing and not... More

I have seen a few shows at Bass Concert Hall, the last one being The Illusionists. This is a fantastic venue for Broadway show and such. Most seats have a good line of site. It's not huge and its not tiny. It's a good size for showcasing theatre. The location on the UT Campus just north of DKR stadium is... More

We decided to go for it and bought season tickets for the Broadway shows in Austin for 2016-2017 season. The best seats we could get were second row balcony. I was surprised nothing was available in the orchestra section, but we settled. Newsies was the first production and it was really good. However the view and acoustics in the balcony... More

Bass Concert Hall is one of the performing arts facilities in Austin and one of the oldest. With that it has gone through many renovations but the last one propelled this place to one of the best in the country. Before shows patrons can experience different levels of relaxation on many floors. Natural light now penetrates the lobby making everything... More

The staff told me the floor seating was recently updated to allow more space between the seats. We were in Row T and there was definitely a nice amount of room in front of us. The wheel chair accessible row is S and it looked to be there was even more room there. We had a good view of the... More

Nice hall with good acoustics - if you're sitting close to the stage on the bottom level. You can't see a thing the higher up you go and the experience diminishes considerably the farther back you sit. Serious problem: Patrons - doesn't seem to matter what age - pull out cell phones to snap photos and record, or text, or... More
