This museum had a lot of territory to cover, and it touched on a lot but was just kind of generic. Nothing spectacular. Nice photography in the Big Bend park section on the top floor, though 😬

Parking garage beside museum $8/day. 3 floors of history of Texas. From the top of the statue of the State Capitol Building to the oil rigs and cattle of Western Texas. There are many mini-films and IMAX movies. A must see for about 3 hours....More

Went to the museum with six small kids older adults and parents. None of us got bored and all ages were amazed with how well the museum was done. The "La Belle" boat exhibit and Big Bend exhibit were my favorites. Actually learned a lot...More
