I highly recommend this in the summer months when you really want to see the bats. We were there in May and there's no way we would have seen the bats by standing on the bridge. From the boat, using red lights, we were able...More

Great tour of all the properties on both sides up and down the lake and the bat show. You won’t find a better value then this tour in all of Austin! Very good deal.

Han Solo was so great! Our boat was the closest to the bats but not so close that we were in bat droppings, perfect thank you!

For 12 dollars you get the best views of the bats flight and a silly but fun tour of the Austin skyline. We brought canned beer on board and had a great time. (BYOB but no glass!)

I was skeptical that the bat sightseeing tour would be worthwhile, but it was an amazing, unique experience Sunday night. It was a great way to learn a bit more about Austin as a tourist, plus all kinds of interesting facts about bats. We got...More

The pictures on the website show a very nice double level boat, in reality, it is 3 broken down pontoon boats with plastic patio furniture. We were told boarding starts at 715 we arrived at 715 and the boats were already loaded and even though...More

While on another tour our guide mentioned there were boat tours for $12 to see the bats. We planned on walking from our hotel to the bridge, but I knew the kids (and myself probably) would get restless waiting on the bats. So, I jumped...More

Day or two , even earlier that day possibly . I think it depends on the weather and any local festivals as to how crowded the area will be.

It looks like if you want to do a bat-watching cruise, that goes daily. The other two cruises they offer are on the weekend. We went on the weekend afternoon cruise which was lovely and entertaining.
