My children and I visited the gardens on a Sunday when they do Child Craft. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Easily walked through and enjoyed in a few hours - is a great place to get away from the noisy city center.

Fun for everyone. Indoor and outdoor garden exhibit. Approximately 40 sculptures by UT Austin professor Umlauf. Interestingly, Ferra Faucett was his student while studying at UT Austin and some of her work is on display as well. Summers are free but donations are welcome. Mrs....More

Someone put together a scavenger hunt that children love - they even have ones for multiple ages. This is a great spot for families to visit.

We found this place by mistake (we were looking for the botanical gardens)! The outdoor grounds are lush and green, and are decorated with beautiful sculptures in the middle of nature. There is a pond with turtles as well. We spent about 40 minutes here,...More

Great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. It is an Austin gem that is usually booked up for wedding and such. But, if you get an opportunity to visit, please do. You won't regret it!

This is an astonishingly beautiful place. Be sure you have good directions - our GPS led us to the back side of the garden and there was no entrance from there.

Lovely museum created from the home of a UT art professor. He taught Farrah Fawcett in the 70s and the became lifelong friends. For some period of time you can see samples of their work and their long friendship. Even without the exhibit, this is...More

The garden provides a lovely, tranquil setting for the Umlauf sculptures. We definitely enjoyed our visit. Interesting to find out that Farrah Fawcett was a student of his at UT. Some of her works were on display in the visitor center.

We thought there would be pieces by many artists, but there were only pieces by Umlaut. This is a gorgeous setting, and the inside talks about Umlaut and his relationship with Farah Faucett and has photos and sculptures of her and about her, but overall...More

There are other places in Austin that might welcome such services, though. The Butterfly Garden and the Zilker Rose Garden, for ex.
