We loved Barton Springs. We went during the week (Friday) so it was not crowded at all. The water was a great temperature and it was very relaxed.

Simply spectacular, this beautiful spring feed natural pool over 1000’ long is my favorite public pool in America. The cool temp is perfect for active swimming especially on a hot day. Great facilities with lots of parking. I love the huge size and tapered depth.

Great place close to town if you are hot and need to cool down in the pool or just relax in the park. No entrance fee while we were here but think that was due to off season or the restoration ongoing.

This is such a lovely trail. It’s important to wear comfortable shoes and to pay attention to the ground. There are rock climbing sites along the trail. Although the pool was dried out, it was such a peaceful trail.

This is a gem in the middle of a sprawling city. In November it is free to enter and to park, though there aren't the usual cafes and other things open. There are lifeguards too.

There is a main parking lot outside of the Main Gate. The website has more information if you need specific directions. Parking is free and first-come-first-serve.

Hi I didn't see anyone with grills out and I don't think they are Allowed. I suppose a small cooler is ok. I did see a couple of visitors with floaties :). Try their website, for more detailed information.
