I was so disappointed to arrive to the museum to find a sign that said, "Closed Indefinitely". Be sure to call before you go! They may or may not reopen.

This museum was a good find. Very informative staff. Maybe not too handy for ADA and wheelchair issues. But fascinating nonetheless. Visited during one of the free weekends of Austin.

A rather special place in many respects and a unique window into Austin's past. Well worth the stop and an hour. Be sure to go when they have a scheduled tour. The gift shop will have appeal to dedicated shoppers.

Very interesting place. Unique artifacts. You need to go there when there is a tour. No individual visit out of tours. Two young ladies who work there were very knowledgeable. Nice view of Austin too.
