Great park to spend some time at. Has a great walking and bike bath loop trail, with great views of downtown Austin across Lady Bird Lake along with being able to watch all of the paddle boarders and kayakers.

It was the best place we've been to. Rowing along the Colorado river, even under the heat of the sun, was worth it.

There is a lot to do in and around the park. LOTS of trails, with a lot of shade. Very scenic along the water which is a pretty green color. Tons of people walking, riding bikes, running, kayaking. Wide open spaces. Very nice gardens.

It's 7 miles from the Hill of Life (at the end) to Zilker park where the Barton Creek Greenbelt trail begins. It's 4 hours for an average hiker

Yes, you can fish at Lady Bird Lake. I Googled "fishing Zilker Park" and found government websites on how to do it.
