We decided we need a little break from the hustle and bustle of downtown Austin and this the perfect remedy. Beautiful park across from the downtown area. We took the lake loop walk which was about 2.5 to 3 miles. Lots of walkers and runners....More

Love this park, across from downtown and the CBD. Mostly locals in the know hanging out in this great mecca. Lots to do nearby and great photo ops. Well worth checking out.

Ride the train! Rent the canoes! Play frisbee golf! Do it all! Wonderful city park that really puts you one with nature. Enjoy the beautiful Austin weather, almost perfect year round. Then, go home (JK)

You must attend the Austin Trail of Lights at Zilker Park. Such a fantastic activity for families, couples and singles.

Really nice park! We brought our dog here and were surprised and happy to see so much open space! I came in January and found views of Colorado River beautiful. A nice relaxing break from the city of Austin. I’d come back for sure :)

Large park with lots to do. There is a small sculpture museum, walking paths, soccer fields and just in general a large park w/beautiful things to see.

Natural hot springs welcomes swimmers all year round. Nice area for picnics and viewing. Parking area is small.

It's 7 miles from the Hill of Life (at the end) to Zilker park where the Barton Creek Greenbelt trail begins. It's 4 hours for an average hiker

Yes, you can fish at Lady Bird Lake. I Googled "fishing Zilker Park" and found government websites on how to do it.
