There are lots of things to do at this park, or you can just sit and relax, or take a leisure walk along the lake. If you have kids, park at the parking lot next to the play ground since it's close to many attractions....More

Nothing here except nothingness! You get the gist. It's just a grassland, not even a meadow. And we cannot find the entrance to the arboretum nearby! Horrible day with 100F weather.

What a fabulous day on the Colorado River kayaking. Nature all around calm waters without all the motorized water crafts whizzing by. You don’t even realize you are in the middle of a metropolitan city until you see the city out on the main channel....More

My friend and I decided to take a leisurely stroll through Zilker Park. Very worth it! Beautiful landscape and a nice trail along the river, with plenty of wildlife to see.

Lovely walking to get here from downtown along the river, and then what a cool swimming pool outdoors - fed by the nearby natural springs. Well worth the time if you want to be outdoors!

Nice park and enjoyable stroll on a nice fall day. Lots of monarch butterflies. Easy walking trails and will take about two hours at least to enjoy. For all ages.

Park was clean considering how many people were there, quite easy to get in and out of as well. Would visit again.

It's 7 miles from the Hill of Life (at the end) to Zilker park where the Barton Creek Greenbelt trail begins. It's 4 hours for an average hiker

Yes, you can fish at Lady Bird Lake. I Googled "fishing Zilker Park" and found government websites on how to do it.
