Really nice park! We brought our dog here and were surprised and happy to see so much open space! I came in January and found views of Colorado River beautiful. A nice relaxing break from the city of Austin. I’d come back for sure :)

I enjoyed the walk very much at the Zilker Park. The scenery along the river is so beautiful that I went home and painted one of the photo I took there. A few tips if you are thinking about adding this place to your list:...More

Well worth a visit around Christmas time. A tip though: don't pre-pay! We went on a whim and when we saw the line, we almost left until we realized that the line was for people who had paid already. For people without pre-paying, there was...More

Zilker Park was a wonderful place to walk. We walked for hours with plenty of benches to stop and rest. There were families, dogs and bicycles. Everyone was enjoying the space and trail. Beautiful park and lovely time.

Lovely Austin park with many options. Check out the garden (only $2!), hikes, sculpture park. All quite lovely and relaxing. Don't miss if you're in the Austin area!

This is a spectacular light show using a Disney theme. That will be a delight to both adults and children. The millions of bulbs and figures enchanted this show.

It's 7 miles from the Hill of Life (at the end) to Zilker park where the Barton Creek Greenbelt trail begins. It's 4 hours for an average hiker

Yes, you can fish at Lady Bird Lake. I Googled "fishing Zilker Park" and found government websites on how to do it.
