Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a hidden gem in Amarillo. Even on a drizzly fall morning, we enjoyed the gardens and greenhouse. A beautiful Oriental garden with multiple levels and a koi pond was wonderful. We also enjoyed poking around the remnants of the vegetable garden and walking through the squash tunnel. There is a butterfy garden, Palo Duro canyon plantings, herbs and sensory, and so many more wonderful areas around each corner. I can't wait to visit in the spring and summer. The botanical garden is set in a whole beautiful green space area including a stream with ducks, gorgeous trees and plantings, picnic tables, and play areas. These are free, while the gardens are a mere $5. They are located across from BSA hospital and will provide a welcome relief for patients and visitors.

Trails were small. Trouble walking through paths without getting touched by plants. Few signs to tell you what plants you were looking at. Lots of signs to tell you who donated money and in whose memory.

We visited in mid April and there wasn’t a lot to see yet, but there was a lot of planting going on. In another few weeks this place will be full,of flowers. Lots of prep being done. The arboretum was great and full of huge lush plants many with blooms. I would suggest visiting here in late May, June or July when all is blooming.

Beautiful oasis in the middle of west Texas! Various gardens including a koi pond, succulents and greenhouse. Well cared for. Kids splash pad and park next door.

This magnificent garden is walkable, beautiful, and full of magical displays. The succulents are outstanding, and the palm-tree-filled arboretum with ducks just begged us to stay. In late Oct, flowers were still in their last bloom, and fall displays were everywhere. The oriental gardens are beautiful, and I later discovered that friends of mine had married there. There is peace, color, and care in every detail here, and we agree; this is not only an Amarillo gem but one of our favorite gardens we've visited.

Pretty and tiny gardens (bizarrely most of the plants are unlabelled but the people who donated to make gardens are well sign-posted). It is well-kept, there's a greenhouse with lots of ducks and carp and it's a nice place to sit and enjoy the greenery.

As with every one else, the visits were affected for awhile from the pandemic. Regardless, over a period of several years I photographed engagement couples' and the formal bridal gown pictures for the wedding. I reside in Amarillo, but would recommended a nice place to walk around on a trip. The dates I visited these beautiful scenic areas was before the dates offered as a choice below.

The gardens are pretty and with the $5 admission fee it is worth it. There is upgrades going on all over the entire gardens and it is very nice. I see this turning into a beautiful must see attraction in the future.

It's a nice garden that has a lot of different flowers and plants. It takes about an hour to walk through which makes for a nice quick stop on the way to some where else.
