Thoroughly enjoyed the hiking trails. Starting out as scrub brush transitioning to rolling prairie and the bluffs. Good to see a working windmill. There were some school groups getting nice informative tours. The trails can be tailored for children of different ages and abilities. It's...More

There is literally nothing here. It's a waste of time. You can see better nature, and plants in Palo Duro Canyon, or anywhere in the country. On my visit the employee were arguing with one another. Super unprofessional and not with your time.More

If your in Amarillo and looking for a little different activity, stop by Wildcat Bluff. Easy to get to and beats the mall and crowds. Enjoy short walks and animal interactions that you normally would never see.

I have never really been able to see what others see in this place. It is basically the untouched Panhandle terrain (which has a sort of rugged beauty that grows on you after a number of years here.) It's a nice place for a stroll,...More

The wildcat bluff area is a great way to spend an afternoon. We went for an overnight school trip. They let the kids (and adults!) sleep with the snakes and other reptiles. Needless, to say, I didn't get much sleep. We also got to pet...More

This place is rundown and overgrown with weeds. It's also just not informational or worth your time. There is no "exhibits". You could walk outside and get the same amount of information and experience without paying an exorbitant fee.

Ranger station was closed but we had a lovely 2hr roam through the countryside. Wear walking shoes as terrain is a bit overgrown in places. I would like the Rangers to keep the paths a bit clearer as we went down the Prarie Dog trail...More

I actually have not been there for awhile, I would go back though. Pretty obvious the people care about the critters they keep and I love that.
