After three visits to the area we finally stopped here and now wished we had done it sooner. The exhibits and artifacts were first rate and the building itself is unique! Make sure to look up at the ceiling and ask about the unusual structure.

We were delighted with this small, well done, interesting and informative museum. It was visually appealing with several short, well done videos. We made time to visit between leaving Big Bend National Park and going to Ft. Davis. We were so glad we made the...More

This is a great museum. You should prepare to spend at least a couple of hours there. They had a Charles Russell exhibit there which was a total surprise. Truly wonderful. One of the highlights of our trip.

We went thinking we would kill a few minutes, but ended up staying for hours. Excellent displays that provided good history of the area. I liked the photography exhibit, but that's what I'm into.

Many beautiful, special exhibits which frequently change out. I remember fondly the fabulous Tom Lea exhibit. Very proud staff who are conscious of the extraordinary treasurers, human and physical, of this most Texan of all areas of the Lone Star State.

This is a great museum! It has interactive displays that are entertaining and educational for all ages. It is not a huge museum and will not take too long if you have other activities planned for the day.
