Palmetto Distillery is a labor of love for Trey and Bryan Boggs. The two brothers and entrepreneurs from Anderson, SC are dedicated business men, southern to the bone and most importantly spirit connoisseurs. The brothers drew inspiration from their own heritage and that of South Carolina to create Palmetto Distillery. Which produces South Carolina's First Legal Moonshine and Palmetto Whiskey, South Carolina's Most Awarded Craft Whiskey. Our goal is to continue to revolutionize the spirit industry. Free distillery tours and moonshine tastings available daily.

Very interesting to see how whiskey is made w/o having to travel to the "Bourbon Trail" in KY. Very well done and a locally owned business to boot! Worth the time & trip!

10 bucks for a few thimble sized taster, then high pressure to buy an overpriced bottle of hooch. The moonshine is pretty good but not worth 35 bucks a bottle, save your time and pass this place up.

In town for an event so we decided to visit. If you go to the visitor center, they have cards for a free tasting. Groupon also has a deal. We didn’t go on a Thursday which apparently is the day with all the action. Nevertheless,...More

The Palmetto Whiskey is some of the finest whiskey I have purchased and consumed. Usually I drink Crown Royal, but now I am sold on Palmetto Whiskey. Very smooth.

Interesting to watch the ingredients being mixed to make the whiskey. The raw alcohol(clear) is pretty strong. When it is cut with various flavors such as apple, etc. it is pretty good. The distillery also has gifts for sale which can make interesting souvenirs. Free...More

Impromptu visit while staying in the area. Loved it! Free tasting of jams and sauces resulted in a case to send home! Husband enjoyed the moonshine and mixer tastings. Like so many last minute things it turned into one of the highlights of the trip.
