Palmetto Distillery is a labor of love for Trey and Bryan Boggs. The two brothers and entrepreneurs from Anderson, SC are dedicated business men, southern to the bone and most importantly spirit connoisseurs. The brothers drew inspiration from their own heritage and that of South Carolina to create Palmetto Distillery. Which produces South Carolina's First Legal Moonshine and Palmetto Whiskey, South Carolina's Most Awarded Craft Whiskey. Our goal is to continue to revolutionize the spirit industry. Free distillery tours and moonshine tastings available daily.

Went here with my 70 year old father, 32 and 30 year old brother and sister and everyone had a fantastic time. From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted by the owner and met with a hillbilly grin from our tour guide Jerry. Jerry turned out to be the best story-teller and historian as he told... Stopped in while we were in SC to pickup some of their Moonshine and Whiskey, can't get it in NC. Always a fun time. If you like a smooth whiskey you need to try it. To me it's better than all the expensive ones.

They did a wonderful job reusing an existing space. So much charm! A little hard to find but plenty of parking. For $5 each, the moonshine tasting was fun,... More

The staff does a great job of bringing the history of the distillery alive. The stories are great! Highly recommended the sampling session for some tasty "shine"! Recommended for 31 and over.

What a great place. Jerry gave us a tour, no appt. necessary, and explained the history of this small distillery. For $5 a head we had a tasting of their lovely whiskey as well as their moonshine and moonshine mixtures (bloody mary which was the best I've ever tasted; strawberry; orange (for Clemson University); blackberry; strawberry, margarita; and apple pie).... Loved that we were able to see a live working moonshine still. Great gift idea items. Enjoyed the free samples

Educational plus a fun place to take visitors from out of town. Good tourist attraction, too. A good experience and fun product line.
