They have many different types of shows throughout the year, but there Christmas show is really worth while. It traces the biblical and historical significance of the Star of Bethlehem.

If you love the universe you will love it here! I am currently living in the Los Angeles area and Griffith is insane, but I adored Aikens small version...a great place to spark the mind.

The planetarium is located on the campus of USC- Aiken. It offers shows for all ages from time to time. Highly recommended.

We saw both shows they are offering right now. Mars and "Blown Away- Weather." They are getting a new system this fall so I can't wait to go back and see the new programs. The telescope in the observatory is worth the trip. We could...More

The museum was average they had a couple of nice displays. We saw the "show" a primitive light display type experience that was worth the $8.00 admission fee. But the highlight was looking through the telescope and seeing Mars and Saturn. Must do that!

The show about Mars was timely, with the movie "The Martian" playing. We stayed for the second show on weather, too. It was cloudy, so the observatory was closed, but I'm sure it would have been enjoyable, too. It was something different for a Saturday...More
