So, I did a little tour of covered bridges in Linn County. (Detour off I-5 at Salem, go south at Stayton, loop back around to Albany. Use Google Maps to help find the bridges). Bridges: 1. Shimanek, 2. Hoffman, 3. Gilkey. Loved them all, but if I had to rate them they would be in order I have listed. Besides,... More
