Doing the Summit County Metro Parks Fall Hiking Spree and visited this park today. Absolutely gorgeous! Tough trail, but well worth it! Beatiful, picturesque views. Breathtaking!

It's an easy trail to begin with and the falls are lovely. However, I'd get there pretty quickly as there are plans to take down that damn and I don't know how that will affect the park. After you visit the falls, (there is a...More

I visited this April 2018, and it was really raging from all the rains. First time I have ever been there, and it was beautiful. It is very accessible for walking. There is a boardwalk and an upper & lower deck. I did not do...More

One of the wonderful things that people in Akron treasure. Many, many hiking trials, places for picnics. Well maintained and always great place for pictures of nature.

Cascade Valley Park consists of several fields where baseball games are held. It is conducive to picnics. The signal tree is located in the park. Otherwise there isn't anything "special" to see or do.

This is actually two parks in West Akron: Cascade Valley/South and Cascade Valley/North. There are plenty of trails to get in a good hike. Check out the Summit Metro Parks website to see the distance of and difficulty of each trail; there are several parking...More

You can kayak on the river, walk through the woods, use one of the outdoor barbeques for a picnic along this trail. It is a level 3 due to some steep inclines but it has steps. Beautiful views! Great trail.
