the artifacts in this museum are very old, very rare, a must see gem if you visit Turkey. The museum building itself and its garden are very beautiful as well

Great little museum. Excellent artifacts, well presented in a historic building. I had low expectations but it definitely was a great learning experience to see the first steps of human civilization in Anatolia.

This museum is the best in Ankara. You can get lots of information about whole Anatolia on all stages of the history. A guide will help you a lot.

It is a big and old museum. In every corner of the museum you can feel the history of Anatolia.They have animated the history in some parts. You should visit there if you interested the civilizations in Anatolia.

First class museum with stellar exhibits! Travel through history with artifacts from 600,000 BC to 600 AD. Well organized for maximum effect, huge variety, and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

It is very nice museum with Ottoman arts and also it is possible to find lifestyle of past society. Ataturk was moved to here after he died and kept in here until Anitkabir was built. There are plenty of photos about Ataturk’s funereal in this...More

It is open everyday except the first day of religous fesstives. The ticket is 20 TL everyday
