This museum is one of the best museums in Turkey. At first glance, it may seem very small but has a lot of historical precious materials.

The Museum summarizes several archaeological sites and historic periods. It is well organized and educational. Nice compound and museum shop. The museum has a cafe. There is a taxi calling button nearby. Pay attention: it takes about 3 hours to really take a good look.

Great little museum. Excellent artifacts, well presented in a historic building. I had low expectations but it definitely was a great learning experience to see the first steps of human civilization in Anatolia.
