A huge museum of the history and culture of Catholicism in the Philippines. Hundreds and thousands of artifacts, from statues to altars, vestments and paintings. There is also a crypt where some famous people are buried.

This is an original monastery started by the Augustinians in 1586. There is a small admission fee and the visit is worth much more. P.S. They also have a comfort room.

The museum, attached to the cathedral, is a fascinating insight into Manila's history, especially the colonial age, and the role of the church. With any number of themed rooms and areas, give yourself enough time to take it all in, from art to history to artefacts and more. The history from the Battle of Manila is harrowing and it is... The museum was an interesting story about the history of Catholicism in the Philippines dating to when it was a Spanish colony. The exterior gardens were beautiful to see!

You do not know where to look first. Such an impressive content, so much to see, such beautiful artefacts. Old colonial paintings, wood carvings, furniture....beautifully restored and well kept. So worth a visit.

Much more comprehensive than we had imagined. Very varied displays testifying to the wealth of old Manila. Beautifully peaceful cloistered garden area. The museum visit allows you to enter the church itself which otherwise is only accessible during services.

This museum is based around the cloisters of an old monastery. While the exhibits are interesting it is the setting that really makes. Highly recommended.

I have visited the church in the past but it's the first time I have visited the renovated museum (courtesy of the Spanish Government). Sad to say some of our museums in the Metro Manila are not worth visiting. I have visited museum in foreign countries and the San Agustin Museum is word class in my opinion. There are 2... More

Nice museum with my statues and wallpapers for Spanish era in The Phillipines. Multi stories with many long corridors and big halls with A/C. Nice garden.

First visit to Manila Philippines, hence the visit, a must see, I think there is an entrance change, Just check, I just paid where ever I went, also most foreigners have a visiting charge.
