Much more comprehensive than we had imagined. Very varied displays testifying to the wealth of old Manila. Beautifully peaceful cloistered garden area. The museum visit allows you to enter the church itself which otherwise is only accessible during services.

This museum is based around the cloisters of an old monastery. While the exhibits are interesting it is the setting that really makes. Highly recommended.

I have visited the church in the past but it's the first time I have visited the renovated museum (courtesy of the Spanish Government). Sad to say some of our museums in the Metro Manila are not worth visiting. I have visited museum in foreign countries and the San Agustin Museum is word class in my opinion. There are 2... More

Nice museum with my statues and wallpapers for Spanish era in The Phillipines. Multi stories with many long corridors and big halls with A/C. Nice garden.

First visit to Manila Philippines, hence the visit, a must see, I think there is an entrance change, Just check, I just paid where ever I went, also most foreigners have a visiting charge.

A good place to have a comprehensive history lesson of Manila. The others being Fort Santiago and Jose Rizal monument. I would recommend that visitors engage the service of a guide available at the museum entrance. There isn't any fixed fee but remember to reward a good tips if you are happy with the knowledge of the tour guide. Many... More

What a gem of a museum and a church. A real haven of peace and serenity in chaotic, noisy and hectic Manila. Spend several good and partly air-conditioned hours there. Great place to unwind

If you're like me who loves history, this is the place to be ! You will find things that will bring you back to the past, so beautiful and definitely authentic. No replicas. The whole place brings so much nostalgia, even the "catacombs", i did not feel any fright but rather curiosity. Who's who is buried there, and there's a... More

Visited the Museum of the Church of San Agustin this morning. It was a very interesting and informative visit and I was able to see historical artefacts and the gold and silver collection. Unfortunately there was a wedding going on in the church so my visit was limited. There is a separate entrance to the museum on the right hand... More
