A nice place to visit and witness the history - it has 2 museums (one on natural history) and the other (on Philippine history). Its totally free to roam around the park and attached areas.

The memorial guard is impressive here. Significant mile post zero for Manila is across the street. Great plaque to the people of the Philippines celebrating independence from the US (without the need for another war). July 4, 1946 by Harry Truman. Well worth a stop.
