We wanted to visit the tea factory then climb the Morne Blanc trail, but the tea factory was closed (it was a weekend day, Sunday I believe). So we just did the trail to the top of Morne Blanc. It’s a steep incline but well shaded and easy enough. Take plenty of water! There is a nice platform at the top for photos and picnicking if you bring food. After our descent, we went to nearby Beau Vallon for a lovely meal and swimming. Just another perfect day in Seychelles.…

This is definitely worth two or three hours, staying for a picnic at the top for half an hour or so.Most of the hike is easy, but steep in parts. If you have difficulty with stairs I think it's not for you. Lots of great views from the top.

You can easily get to the beginning of the trail by 14th bus. I would recommend wearing proper footwear and taking plenty of water with you, maybe some snacks if you want to have a picnic at the top. The trail has high level of difficulty, but I would say it’s only difficult because it’s like a cardio exercise. Most of the time you are just climbing up using rocks and tree routes as steps. Some steps are small, some are pretty high. You will be using your hands, so maybe also take some wipes/napkins with you. Going down was easier but you should be careful and watch your step. The trail was through a very nice tropical forest, you will be able to observe flora and fauna of Seychelles on your way and be rewarded by a spectacular view at the end. …
