Another relatively short and interesting hike in Mahe. We loved the trail and the sound of water. The views are impressive and we had the chance again to see a pair of endemic blue pigeons flying gracefully above us and the Seychelles carniverous plant.

Beautiful trail, can be done by people of any calibre if you take your time. Be careful in the rain as the path can become slippery when wet.

This is an easy trail to follow and you are rewarded with views of the coast near Victoria from the top. We walked to the starting point from Victoria rather than driving to the starting point as we wanted to extend the walk: it worked out even though we were walking along the road most of the way. There is a good sign at the start of the trail so it's easy to find. At the top of the hill there were some bats.…

Perley was extremely knowledgeable and humorous also. Showed us all the rare species in the jungle and also knew a lot of history of the island of Mahe itself.
