There are only ruins to be seen in this area. There is not much left in the area but the view of the island from the top is spell binding. On your trip to Seychelles a visit should be paid to the area.

Spectacular view on the west coast of Mahe island. It is in the National Park area, so you will see pure nature landscape completely free from human destructive activities.

The views here are spectacular! The area used to be a home for freed slave children and when you walk in .. You know it's something special. Great for selfies and a wonderful view of the island.

Short trek to the viewing lodge which gives good views along the coast line. Several interesting trees and plants enroute together with ruins of Venn town which was a mission for the children of liberated slaves. Free entry and worth considering if in the area.

We were doing a geocaching trip along the Sans Souci road and stopped in here to find a cache as well as read up the interesting information about the history of the Mission. Particularly interesting if you work in Education. The view was an additional bonus. Although really just a couple of small ruins, the image of a working school... More

This is a beautiful place, is up in the mountains and it used to be the school for slaves kids. Is just beautiful you are surrounded by a jungle forest. With a beautiful view of the see. Worth going

interesting unexpected piece of history linking British culture to the Seychelles. Ruins of a village queen Victoria set up for the slave children when she visited the island years ago. they are trying to get this unnesco status and I believe it deserves that.
