A must see for tourists, because the mosque has all the interiors and preserves carvings of the earliest days of Maldivian history.

เข้ามาชม Old Friday Mosque หรือมัสยิดแรกสุดในประเทศ Maldives มีอายุกว่า 400 ปี ทุกอย่างในนี้ยังเป็นของเดิม เก่าแก่มากๆ ออกมาชมด้านนอก มัสยิดแห่งนี้สร้างโดยใช้หินปะการังในการก่อสร้าง และตอนนี้ก็ยังคงปิดให้เข้าไปประกอบศาสนกิจได้อยู่ ข้างๆจะมีหลุมศพของ Ibrahim Nasir (ประธานาธิบดีคนที่ 2 แห่งสาธารณรัฐ Maldives ) ที่เป็นผู้พัฒนาประเทศ Maldives ในหลายๆด้าน เรื่องเด่นๆก็คือสร้างสนามบิน Male International Airport หรือชื่อจริงๆ Ibrahim Nasir International Airport นั่นเอง ** For More Photo you can look in Facebook “Vanapong Peudpaichit” ** ** สำหรับข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมมาดูได้ที่ Facebook “Vanapong Peudpaichit” **

It was a bit different Mosque. It don't look like normal Mosque. It was built in 1400 centuries. Nearby there is a cemetery of Sultans. It is opposite of President residence (Mulee Aage).

When you visit Male' City never miss this Old heritage Mosque, because there's no much to see in Male' like this old craftsman's rock curving works. I could say this is one of the oldest mosque and it remains as it is. I would recommend to go inside the mosque and see the beauty, the ideal time to visit is... More

This was a very interesting beautiful Mosque which was made from Coral and had a little cemetry in the front. The buildings were beautifully made and made for some lovely photos. It is one of the most historic sights to see in Male.

According to my local tour guide, this is the place where a priest from Morocco was buried. The priest share about Islam to the people and being the starting point of Maldives establishment today.
