This was a very interesting beautiful Mosque which was made from Coral and had a little cemetry in the front. The buildings were beautifully made and made for some lovely photos. It is one of the most historic sights to see in Male.

According to my local tour guide, this is the place where a priest from Morocco was buried. The priest share about Islam to the people and being the starting point of Maldives establishment today.

Our guide showed us this place from outside as it was getting renovated. We saw coral decorated from the outside and it was beautiful!

My friend and I were quite conservatively dressed compared to most other tourists we saw, but we still weren't sure we'd be allowed to go in; when we saw a sign... More

This was a fascinating little mosque, recently renovated , a mosque made of coral with a neat, old burial ground.

The oldest mosque in the Maldives and it has the tombs of the most important rulers and their families here. Quite desolate after dark and may get spooky.
