The mosque is the oldest one on Maldives. Unfortunately, it is covered with some metal sheets so does not look very interesting from the outside, so you need to go inside to appreciate its beauty. Remember to take off your shoes and wash your feet...More

If you are on maafushi island you will not miss any of its attractions since it is so small . You will anyway find them even if you are not looking for them. This one is good one in the middle of the island.

It’s location makes it easy to view from outside but more planning required if you want to visit inside.

The mosque was there for really long time. It is a traditionally-built building with no nails used. Great if u love some historic and traditional architecture and engineering.

A 350 y/o Mosque made of corals.. with tombs around made also of choral stones... if the coral tomb is pointed the deceased is Male, and if its curved, its Female. A must must visit!

This oldest mosque in Male was built with coral and limestone. Outside the building lied mausoleum of the previous Sultan and their relatives.Inside the building is the magnificent decoration made from wood. Truly worth to visit once in lifetime.
