Malaysia Tourism Centre is situated on Jalan Ampang near the Bukit Nanas Monorail station. It's housed in a fine old colonial building which was used as the Government Assembly building. The staff are helpful and there is plenty of free maps etc. Also some cafes and cultural displays.

There are plenty of very useful leaflets; maps and guides you can can pick up for many destinations in Malaysia. We picked up maps for Sabah; Sarawak; Penang; Langkawi and Kuala Lumpur. We also picked up a general book on Malaysia and guidebooks on Langkawi and Kuala Lumpur. The female customer service officer was very welcoming and friendly and answered... More

Located near Petronas Towers in an old colonial building this office can offer help and printed maps and brochures of the whole country. There is a small cafeteria and chocolate shop attached. I happened to arrive when a cultural dance show, free of charge was just beginning and was invited to join in. I was surprised to find it quite... More

Attendants are welcoming and knowledgeable. Do also try the Saloma Restaurant if you're there - very tasty selection of local food. I also read recently that "Dining in the Sky" is now... More

We were there and out in about 2 and a half minutes. Nothing much to see there, especially when we have already been in KL for 2 days and more or less already know what to see and do. Apparently there are cultural dance shows at certain times of the day, but our timing wasn't right, so we didn't catch... More

I went to Matic (Malaysia Tourism Centre) last month and there was a free musical theater performance called "Puteri Lindungan Bulan" (translated as Princess Protected By Moon) performed for 3 days. It was really great & fascinating show. Musical theater will be performed in Matic once in a while every year and you need to check Matic's official website for... More
