Dating back to colonial days of the 19th century, this Anglican Cathedral is an active worshipping community which welcomes visitors. There are many busy and seemingly thriving annexes to the main worshipping church, which is spiritually quiet and offers a chance to reflect and pray. Located overlooking the old cricket ground, Royal Selangor Club, former High Court and Railway Station…the... More

It was nice to visit this church. Exterior and interior are as one would expect. The entrance and all those aluminium and glass doors are kind of strange although.

If you are visiting Merdeka Square, you can pop into this quaint little colonial cathedral. It's a beautiful building and like taking a step back in time. When I visited, I think they were preparing for a wedding, the decorations were gorgeous. It won't take up much of your time, but worth popping in to see a piece of history... More

Worth popping into during your visit to Merdeka Square just to see another typically British building in an Asian context.

This a late (1894) British Colonial Cathedral in a Neo-Gothic style, It is attractive and has had some additions and not entirely successful renovations. Set in an area in the historic centre of town close to a number of important Colonial and Malaysian historic buildings.

When I think of cathedral I thought that it was huge and beautiful designs but when I went there for the first it was a small cathedral. Anyway the inside was good and it is located near the merdeka square.

This tiny cathedral is beautiful inside and outside. It is an ideal, quiet place to go and reflect on life, and its meanings, away from the hustle and bustle of KL.

When we went to Merdeka Square the taxi left us near this Cathedral and we decided to take a look but it was closed and there was a lot of construction materials around, so I guess it is been renovated. It looks a normal building from the outside and there were some cars parked around it. When we read Cathedral... More
