The first thing I noticed when visiting this memorial was how much it looked liked some of the ones we have in the U.S. It is worth a visit and has a nice view!

Well worth a look, impressive construction and commemoration. There is so much information and symbolism including the fallen Communist Soldiers underfoot. There are also fighting Unit motifs in the ceiling as well as the views o KL. Entrance is free.

we went there to visit and it is a monumnet that actually look like a us or australien monument...and it is in a bad need of maintenance as most of the fountains were not working and it needed cleaning

As far as war tributes and the local pride, this is a very impressive statue. Our guide said it was the largest copper statue in the world. I'm glad we stopped. Make it a part of your day long tour but not a special trip...More

Statue was done by artist of USA's Iwo Jima Stature. Nice park! Also tour through the national art submissions of the Asian countries.

It was just this sculpture there and some more when you walk towards garden. But there was nothing to give a special visit there. Better spend time somewhere else.

This monument isn't large as it only showcases the one statue as seen in the picture. There isn't a proper area that talks about the existing history and the reason why this monument was built

This type of monument is always sobering, it reminds us of the sacrifices others have made for the life we have today. It is a very nice memorial to all those who fought for Malaysia.

The monument itself takes 5-10 min. The area around it is nice to walk and close to the botanical, bird, and butterfly park. So that would take half a day.
