Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A national monument, very nice building. It is possible to go inside the parliament, but you have to apply for permit online at the website (http://www.parlimen.gov.my/eperkhidmatan.html?uweb=p&). Once approved via email, print that and you have your entry permit.

There, they will take you on a tour, even into the Dewan Rakyat (Lower House/House of Representatives) and Dewan Negara (Upper House/Senate). They will let you sit in the public viewing area (balcony) of the Lower House when there is a parliamentary sitting. See their calendar at the website so you don't miss a sitting. If you're lucky there will be heated arguments.

While you're there, whether with permit or not, make sure you go up to the 17th floor at the tower wing. There is a cafe up there with a stunning 360° view of Kuala Lumpur. You can also catch live parliamentary action on the TV up there, if there is a sitting.

Note: Taxi drivers might not know how to get to the Parliament due to the rarity of passengers going there. But it's actually very easy. Take a taxi from Bandaraya LRT station (nearest to Parliament), tell them to go to Jalan Parlimen, and there will be roadsigns along the road indicating a special road to the Parliament. If you want to leave the Parliament, you can tell any of the security staff there that you need a taxi, they will get a taxi company to contact you through one of their telephones. The company will search of nearby taxi to go pick you up. Or if you're lucky, a taxi might just drop passengers there and you can take that.

ps. To enter (with permit), you have to be in full suit.

Great architecture, did not get the chance to inside , but I was able to enjoy the beautiful facade and surroundings of this Parliament House, very close to the Pink Mosque and to the place where you can take a sunset cruise.

The structure looks great but tourists are not granted entry, good for a drive by if your heading to the ASEAN sculptures or the monument as they are close by. Enjoy honeycomb art that is Parliament House.

Can't get past security. Can see it in the distance. Building looks okay. nothing special. Slight walk from other sites in the park. If you're limited on time, don't have to see it.

Rocked up to just observe from afar - it was worth a five minute gaze - but that was enough to appreciate the site. Since learnt that you can apply for a visitor permit.

The parliament building is of unique architecture and nice looking one it being fairly tall and distinctively white. We can see it from the monument area and around it. The architecture of the parliament building is described as the Bicameral type. It is only building with a distinctive landscape in the area.
We applied online by application five working days before our visit. Once we got the approval / permission to our email, we have to take prints of it and bring along with us.
We dressed in full suit in respect of the high ranking legislative venue. There are two houses in the parliament, namely; Dewan Rakyt the Lower House of representatives and the other Dewan Negara the Upper House. We were asked to sit in the viewing area balcony as the parliament session was on. We herd like a little argument and we were lucky to witness them.

It is a distinctly white building near the National Monument. The Malaysian Parliament is of the bicameral type, consisting of the Dewan Rakyat , the lower House and Dewan Negara, the upper house. A member of Dewan rakyat is called Member of Parliament whereas a member of Dewan Negara is called Senator. To visit the inside of Parliament, we had to submit online visit application at least five working days before the date of visit. When we visited , we were very conscious to dress appropriately. Once inside we saw the the two Houses, various offices, a library, a banquet hall and committee rooms.

it is located near the Kuala Lumpur Monument. it is white in colour and it is the only building in this area surrounded with beautiful landscape. Since it is the House of Parliament you are not allowed to go in without a valid reason. This is the place where members of parliament meet to pass bills of legislature. it is the local westminister.

The Parliament House stands on a hill across from Lake gardens and the National Monument. Built in 1959, it has a distinctly white honey-combed tower. It stands on 35 acres of land and even has a deer park. Visitors must first obtain prior approval to visit and they can watch a parliament in session. Best photographed from across the hill of the national Monument.
