Morrow Mountain is an amazing treasure hidden in Stanly County. You can bike, hike, camp, fish and even rent canoes here! The view from the top is incredible on a clear day. This is a stop you have to make while in town!

This is a nice park with several easy trails. We were there on a very hot July day and truly wanted just a pleasant walk in the woods. We walked the Quail trail (very nice) and the 3-Rivers Trail (good but some uphill).

This is a lesser visited state park but it has so much to offer. There are beautiful trails that border lake Tillery. Be sure to pack your bug spray as the bugs can be quite bad in the summer.

This was a last minute decision for us. So much to do swimming pool, boating rentals or bring your own, trails, fishing, Tent, RV camping, cabin rentals and so clean. It was Memorial Day weekend and a lot of people but didn't feel crowded. Next...More

It depends on which site you choose. There are sites near the bathroom if you are able to get that site.
