Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

You would get more enjoyment out of this visit if you were interested in the history of Western religions making an inroad into Eastern beliefs. This was part of a tour however, I probably would not have gone otherwise.
It was interesting to learn about the 26 people who were put to death for their belief and also others that were victimised.

The church is beautiful, although nothing compared to some European ones. They have a recording playing constantly in Japanese that I'm assuming tells the story of the church. This greatly took away from the sacredness of the church. I don't think the church is used anymore as a church which is so sad. There is a church across the street which you can pray in with the same name.

You can learn about the history of how Christianity was transmitted, persecuted, and then accepted in Japan. The only small basilica in Japan is a must-see.

Is there a Roman Catholic Church that has an anticipated Saturday Evening English Mass that's near the Nagasaki Train station? IF there's none, how about an early Sunday morning mass in English? Thank You.
