This house was one of the first Western-style buildings in Japan. Learn about the Glovers and their role in the industrialization of Japan. It is a beautiful house with lovely gardens.

A very unique home of a very successful business man at one time. From Scotland and traded in trade goods and arms he became very wealthy but eventually lost it all. Fascinating house. Worth seeing.

If you are looking to spend a few hours visiting a World Heritage site, visiting « Madame Butterfly »’ house and enjoying old fashioned made coffee and tea, look no further. A must see in Nagasaki.

The Former Glover house is one of the buildings to see inside the garden and it's supposed to be the big hit. It gives a nice impression of the past times but it didn't feel that exciting.
