Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I ate in 2 different establishments but the choice is astounding surrounding Tsukenkaku Tower. Some restaurants have lengthy queues, but why bother when there are so many to choose from? Colourful local characters and hawkers add to the entertainment.

A market with colorful streets, specially at night and specifically on a Saturday night. Walking the street was fun and you can see the Tsutenkaku tower lit with colorful neon lights. It felt more local than other markets with shops and many restaurants. Pass by this place if you are near and into walking.

This is the main shopping street leading to Tsutenkaku Tower. The buildings are a bit old and run down. Many of them are closed already.
The nice thing here is that there are a lot of restaurants here offering good food at reasonable prices.

We walked along this street at night on our way to Tsutenkaku tower. Not so many people and some shops were already closed.

First time here, we arrived in the afternoon, it was so busy and full of tourist! We do not have enough time here, just walk around and we found here is full of local products and seafood!
You can find many restaurants here too! It's located close to train station, full of convenience!

Lots of specialty restaurants and stores to browse around, the whole area has so many special decorations along the way, so colorful, so whimsical, so cheerful. Make you feel so happy just wondering around.

Leading to the Tsutenkaku Tower, a sad pedestrian shopping arcade. Many business were closed, spirit mediums looking for clients setting tables on the side of the street. Couple of adult video businesses and business that have been there for many many decades.
The best thing about this street was the great view of the Tsutenkaku Tower. In fact, they have it marked in the middle of the street as the place that has the best perspective view of the tower from below.
This place is in need of a major face lift.
