The vibe in this strip at night is so much better than day time. Worth a stroll down from one end to the other, and back again. Hidden gems everywhere.

The sights are amazing with plenty of shops to your left and right. Food are aplenty with so many variations. The only issue I have is with tax refund where the queue takes at least an hour to process during a busy day.

So much fun. So many lights! But if you hate crowds you won’t enjoy it too much. It’s very crowded but not pushy. I love all the lights and people and food. Lots of food - restaurants and street food. It was great to wander...More

The place gave me such a pleasant atmosphere. Plenty of shops and foods to try! A must place to visit at night preferably! Everyone should try to enjoy the small and iconic river :)

Once is enough. Every few steps are same kind of food. Too crowded to enjoy. Some long queues for food are deceiving. Better to dine elsewhere. Tried Ramen, Takoyaki & Okonomiyaki here. Had tasted better ones elsewhere.

This is definitely a must visit in Osaka. There are lots of great food and plenty of shopping ranging from fashion, popular drug stores to electronics. It is also located just beside the Shinsaibashi shopping street.

We were part of a group tour of Japan. In the 2nd last day, our guide took us to Dotonbori. My title says it all: smelly, noisy and dirty on the streets. Lots of restaurants and basement bargains stores. The entire group found this street...More

I’m afraid one has to use metro. Parking space is very expensive and limited in crowded Japanese cities...

I assume you can, but it will be really tight and exhausting as there's loads to do in Hakone itself.
