I go to Osaka couple times per year, but Dotonbori are crowed with mainland China tourist these recent years. It's crowed and everywhere is long Que. Even walking from one shop to the next its difficult. You do not see any local people go anymore....More

This area is Osaka’s equivalent to NY Times Square, full of people, stores and restaurants and with tons of neon light that make it a muy to visit at night.

Dotonbori's trade mark. Hahahaha.... but dont forget to buy some souvenirs in here. Try to bargain, it is more cheap than in harajuku or shibuya

I don’t see why not! It’s very busy there, like the main tourist hub. Things tended to shut down around 10pm though in the back streets, maybe earlier.

If you do a google search of halal restaurants in Osaka you'll see there are a number of them.
