It's near Namba station, so you can just walk south to it. the stretch of road has all the shops you want to find at Akihabara, such as Kotobukiya or Cospa. But these shops may not have as much goods to sell as in Tokyo....More

Quite small compared to Tokyo. Not that extensive or bright. But it did have some great stores for cheap figurines.

It kind of has a seedy atmosphere but it is very safe. It is fun to walk up and down the street, listen to the noisy shop vendors beckoning you in. you can pick up a bargain and haggling is OK.

If you are into anime and gaming, this is the place to go. Gacha machines, manga comics and gaming hubs fill the streets and every corner. If you are into computers, don't forget to go to Softmap PC store. :)

It's like a cross between Sydney's Kings Cross, a noisy agricltural show, exotic shops, and an endless shopping mall. It's hilraiously busy, hilariously crowded, and quite unsuited to those who prefer quiet. I prefer quiet.

Really love this area! So many arcades, prize machines, anime shops and video game shops! It's a great place and atmosphere, with some really nice small food places around too. The video game stores in Japan are of course brilliant, especially the retro floors, offering...More

I was there at around 7pm to 8pm. Most of the shops there were already closed or were in the midst of closing. I assumed it would be lively like Akihabara and have the neon lights and all, all night long but it doesn't seem...More

Good street for electronics shopping... Many shops around... Mostly second hand.... Price bit expensive... But you might find something cheap... So worth a try.

I would go up to Namba - there is that HUGE building called 'Donki Hortei' it is on the canal/river and it's really easy to find, as it has a very large yellow ferris wheel on top of it! I has a lot of cheaper used items on... More

You sure can! Gudetama items can be found on the first floor of "Kids Land" halfway down on the main road (Sakaisuji Road). Kid's Land has all those mascot items on the first floor ;)
