Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Located on the 13th floor of Daimaru Department Store. This is the cornerstone brand on this floor.

While I have never understood the appeal, Pokemon Center is split into two. You have the store area where you can buy merchandise, souvenirs, and the actual cards.

The second area, in the corner, is the gaming area. You have tables where players can play. When I was there, there was a group doing a pack opening stream.

There weren't any locals here. All obvious tourists.

The floor also houses the "One Piece" area, Nintendo area, and CAPCOM area.

This is the kid he has always talked about in his reviews. This place is very small but if you want to buy something I reccomend it.

If you are walking by you should go see it but if you are a fan you must see it.

This was on the 13th floor of the Daimaru department store. It is very close to the Umeda subway station. It took us about 50 minutes to get there from Kansai airport. Take the JR line to get there from the airport. If you take Nankai you have to transfer at Namba and it is more expensive.
The store was much larger than I though it would be and because it is spread out, it feels much less crowded. It was better and nicer than the Tokyo version.
The items available are very diverse and you can easily drop $50. You will see numerous things not available in the US. My family enjoyed the visit and would do it again.

For those from kyoto and not be able to stop over at Osaka Staton, there is now one pokemon store at KIX airport, level 3!.. Somewhere in between the two food courts area, in the public area (not transit)

Hopefully it is permanent and not just a pop store..

Exactly what it says.....a Pokemon shop that has all manner of stuff for both fans of Pokemon as well as anyone that wants to buy gifts for children or friends or family that love cute things. The shop certainly has some very unique things that you can really only get in Japan, and Pokemon is certainly iconic as part of Japanese pop culture. So in my opinion that makes it a goo place to get gifts for people.

A huge variety of products. Updated and wonderful. The pokemon dolls are great and are little bit cheaper than HK. Some products are limited edition in Osaka. It is very easy to access. You can take JR loop line to Osaka Station and got exit at Center Exit gate. Then direct walk to Diamuro Drpartment Store snd take a lift to 13/F

We visited the Pokemon Centre in Osaka having already been to the HUGE outlet in Tokyo. Certainly, there's no comparison in terms of which was more impressive. However, there were two products found here which we didn't find see in Tokyo - the Pikachu in a Japanese salaryman suit and a large Snorlax!

Highly recommended for all Pokemon fans! For non-Pokemon fans, there's a Uniqlo right beside the Pokemon Centee on the same floor!

If this was the biggest Pokemon Centre in Japan before Megatokyo, then it has failed my expectations. Very little to offer. Go here if you must unless you're making a trip to Tokyo.

The store is great for souvenirs. It has plush toys, stationary, calendars, t-shirt, key chains, etc!
