Osaka Station and Umeda Station, effectively part of the same complex, together constitute the busiest station in Western Japan. There are four concourses, corresponding to four sets of ticket gates: it's very big shopping complex. One of biggest electronic mall Yodobashi Camera. Hundreds of shops. Great place for spend time and shopping.

A nice enough place to be in when planning trips around Osaka. You have shopping, eats, money changers, travel agencies, railroads and more all in one place.

Osaka JR Station should be one of the best organised shopping/eating cum traffic hub in the world. It was really large but the signages were clear and indicative, so the possibility of get loss there was not great. Probably you would spend over two hours to tour around the compound depending on individual's taste or drop down to have a... More

Superb skyline views of Osaka for free at the North (Kaze-no-hiroba Plaza) & South (Taiyo-no-hiroba Plaza) Gate Buildings. I also liked the Yawaragi-no-niwa Garden with the plum blossoms there. There are many shops for dining and shopping, even a gym and hotel. Visitors can get lost due to the rush of people going in/out of the station, but this place... More

Loved our recent trip on the subway! Bought a 600¥ day pass and got a 10% discount voucher to use at many tourist attractions! Compared to Australian railways, this system is clean and free of graffiti and vandalism! Stations are well laid out and signage is very good. English is not necessarily spoken but most of the ticket sellers can... More

Not sure why they called this a "station city", but it's basically Daimaru department mall plus Grandvia hotel. The Daimaru is ok with all the standard floors of a japanese department store

This station is huge . There's many stores for shopping and lots of restaurants and coffee shops all spread out . Can get a bit lost so remember which exit you need to go to.

JR Osaka Station itself is an attraction. Reach here early mornings to see the rush of people. Yet it is so clean and well maintained. Visited here everyday to catch trains to Kyoto, Nara. You can get beautiful views of the station from Hep 5 Ferries Wheel
