Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Two high-end luxury malls across the street from each other. One is beside the Ritz and the other is beside the Hilton.

We happened to have ended up here on our anniversary the last few years. The collection of restaurants here are pretty memorable.

Lawry's Prime Rib, Barbacoa Brazillilan BBQ, Chedi Luang are just some of the restaurants we have enjoyed.

Generally speaking, this is a luxury mall. Most of the shops here are not within a price range that I am comfortable with but it is a good place to visit if you want to splurge.

The restaurant choices do run a range of moderately priced to fine dining but for the budget-conscious, avoid this mall.

We will be back when we want to splurge.

Below this plaza are about 18 different restaurants offering Japanese food. But there are also some places with western food and a great French bakery with all delicacies, such as French croissant etc.

Lots of eateries and shopping all under one roof. Shops are high end and expensive name brands. You can get variety of food form western type to typical Japanese

The Plaza is located about 5mins from the JR Osaka railway station. It is a multi-levelled shopping complex - mainly high-end stores with some eateries dotted throughout.

It is also where the Herbis Osaka Bus Terminal is located, but more importantly for travellers, the Airport Limousine Shuttle Bus departs from here - very handy!

This was my first visit to the building, as I had business at a store on the 4th floor. I decided to come from the west exit of Hanshin Umeda Station (through the underground passage) so that it would be easiest to find the way, and so I found it right away. The building has a luxurious feel, but the first thing I noticed was that it was quite dark. The area around the escalators was also dark. There are elevators that stop at every floor and those that don't, and I couldn't even tell if there was any distinction (signage) between them. When I got in, it was very dark inside the elevator, and the stop button was a unique shape, so I couldn't press it right away. I had no choice but to get off at the nearest floor and take the escalator down to the 4th floor. This may confuse first-time visitors or elderly people for a moment. When you go into the toilet, the washlet dispenses cold water, not warm water. In general, the inside of the stores in the building is bright, but the shared spaces are simply dark. It is unclear whether this is for the sake of creating a good atmosphere or for energy conservation, but the design is confusing for middle-aged and elderly people. If the hotel is advertising itself as luxury, I think the washlets should be hot water. Cold water is particularly problematic in the winter. The layout of the building is not flat like a regular department store, so it is difficult to find out where the elevators and toilets are. To be honest, it is not a very user-friendly design, and I personally got the impression that it is not a very approachable facility.
