Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is popular to visit the furniture shops (such as ASOKO, https://www.asoko-jpn.com/) at orange street (Tachibana Street), please don't forget to visit the adjacent area (read photos), what you have to do is to leave from Orange Street and cross the bridge along the Dotonbori River, you can visit the places (e.g Pier) that shown in the photos below.

If you’re into shopping, Berkeley vibe, and a hype beast, then head over to “Orange Street“. If none of the above appeals to you, skip this destination. The street is geared towards the hipsters and those looking to shop for the next big thing. There’s a Supreme shop on this street. As a photographer, I wished I had the courage to ask strangers if I could take pictures of their amazing street wear.

Was there because I was visiting Headporter and was pleasantly surprised by the brand offerings there of streetwear boutique shops and coffee shops in Orange Street. Highly recommend for people who are into street wear to check out the place. It is walkable from dotonburi, and I recommend heading there before shopping/dining at Doton in the evening

Malls in Japan are great, but I'm a big fan of boutique shopping where you can really get local, well-made items. Tachibana-touri or Orange Street is a fantastic place for this.
Getting off the Yotsubashi stop or the Osaka-Namba subway stop it's about a 4-5 minute walk and the street runs for about 5-7 blocks. I would say one half is devoted to really neat fairly inexpensive chic houseware stores for furniture items etc. The other half is for clothing, shoes, bags, jewelry, coffee shops and little restaurants (not a ton of restaurants though, mostly shopping really).
One of the coolest parts about this street and neighbourhood was after immediately exiting the train station you see tons of young professionals with very cool styles biking and walking around. You can tell you've hit a popular-with-locals, trendy, boutique area. The Orange Street shops were beautiful too, tons of gorgeous skirts and tops. I bought fantastic selvedge denim overalls and my boyfriend got himself a really nice cordura mens side bag for about 6000 yen.
There were also a ton of boutique men's shops so it was easy to spend several hours, boyfriend in tote, wandering the area and he was happy the whole time!
If you want to go somewhere that isn't just H&M's, Uniqlo's, Zara's, but you can't afford the Prada's, Ferragamo's and Max Mara's, I'd recommend checking out Orange Street!

For all your fashion needs, come over to this place and you won't regret! Home to many premium only Japan designed brands, you'll be surprised to find your international brands having special licenses for the Japan market.
This street is filled with brands such as Supreme, Bathing Ape, Undefeated, The North Face, Champion, Headporter and so much more!!
Be sure to check out Champion before 31st March 2016 when the license will be returned to the US charge. For now, it is still under the control of a Japan company which also manages The North Face.
The North Face has many Japan-limited collections such as Purple Label and Standard! Standard is only available in 6 stores around Japan but the collection is not as complete as the other Standard stores. Purple label is fantastic!!
Come to this area during 2nd January and start queuing at your favourite store, way before opening to grab the cheapest discounted items! Items are almost guranteed to be over 30% in most stores.. Just be there at least 3 hours before opening.
Some stores have EN/CN/CAN speakers.. Headporter, North Face, Hoods, Ape and a couple others do have multilingual staffs..
Took plenty of pictures in The North Face!

Not a crowded shopping street with both local and global brands and more to a lifestyles stores. Several nice Coffee & Bars. Try Cafe Contempo when you visit this area.

Only for hipsters with expensive clothes and furniture and expensive coffee places which don’t serve much else. Don’t make a trip just for this unless in the area.

A good place for chill and relax, while enjoying the japanese ambience.
The street is nearby Dotonburi, but less crowded and full of collaborated-shops (boutique shop with cafe inside)

If you like the global and somewhat faceless stores; then don’t come to this part of Osaka.
Great too plenty of “smaller” brands like g-star, north face etc but also plenty of local business that we’re doing well. From fashion, homewares the obligatory food queues etc we really enjoyed the are. Less crowded than the madness just a few blocks over around nippombashi etc.
we have 2 kids under 10 and they enjoyed the area too.
Don’t go there before 11 as most things are closed, but do go there to buy from independent business and get something a bit more unique from your time in Osaka.

How do you get to Orange street from Osaka station?
Written 10 October 2016
Hi sorry for the slow response!!
The easiest way is to walk 4 minutes from Osaka station to Nishi-Umeda station and to board the Yotsubashi line in the direction of Suminokoen(Sumino park). Get off at Yotsubashi station (4 stops after nishi-umeda) and walk 6 minutes from Yotsubashi station to orange street. (When you exit Yotsubashi try to keep walking along the main street you are on in the same direction as the subway was heading. After about 5 or 6 blocks turn right and you should be right there!) hope this helped in case you haven't already been yet!
