Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

July 2017 • Family
We booked both tempura and sushi courses during our trip in Japan in July 2017.
Our hosts were very dedicated and did a great job. We practiced a lot and tried everything by ourselves. Of course at the end you taste the entire job you have done.
The content is very cool and instructive and this is surely one of my trip's best experiences.
A final word for Miyuki-san who speaks very well English (not so common in Japan) and guide you all along the course.

Thank you so much for participating our cooking classes, both in Tempura and Sushi.
We are delightful to hear that you enjoyed our classes!
I believe you've got some of the ingredients we used in the classes just before you leave Japan. So please use that ingredients someday in the near future, and hope to recall your experience of cooking at Sakura cook!
Thank you once again for coming to our classes. Take care, from Miyuki.

Booked the class the evening before. Did get a confirmation of the booking after one hour, I think. Easy to communicate. Fun way of learning how to do a short version of three different ramens. Asked questions about broth (the 12 hour) and flavours. She could answer!

My wife and I had a wonderful time learning to cook sushi with our teachers. We learned the importance of sushi rice preparation, the essential ingredients of delicious miso soup, and a little history of the dishes we prepared. We left very happy and extremely full. Miyuki and her sister were terrific instructors, and were very accommodating given our inability to speak Japanese. This class was without a doubt the highlight of our trip to Japan. If you're lucky enough to be in Osaka, go to Sakura Cook!

Thank you so much for giving us such a great review! We are really happy to hear that both of you enjoyed making and eating sushi, especially fatty tuna you saved for the last. :)
Besides, I was very glad that you were also interested in Japanese food culture.
Thank you once again for joining our cooking class!

The teacher is very friendly, skillful and knowledgeable, so we had a enjoyable time there. It was my first experience to make sushi, however, she guided us very well, then we ate them deliciously at the end.
Yakitori and miso soup were also very good!

Catching up with long time friends from around the globe we booked the Ramen course to share a new experience. Fumi shared her experience and many tips to help us make the best ramen we’ve ever made! It was great fun and a great memory. Thanks again.

We attended the takoyaki class and it was really easy and funny.
Our teacher was really friendly and she explain us every step very clearly, she helped us with the “to buy list” to cook takoyaki at home. Moreover she suggested us a lots of restaurant for dinner.
For sure we will attend another cooking class when we will come back in Osaka.

Fumi and Tami were friendly and knowledgeable guides to our first sushi-making experience, and the food we made was amazing. This is absolutely worth the price, and was a great way to spend a couple of hours.

We spent a wonderful afternoon with Fumi and Tami learning to make delicious bento boxes. The class was really interesting and they were great teachers - very friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to try out the recipes now that we’re home. Highly recommended if you are travelling to Osaka 😊

We traveled Japan for nine days with friends who are living and working in Tokyo. They took us here, as they’d been before and knew how fun it was. We laughed, drank, cooked, talked and ate our way through a thoroughly fun and tasty dinner! The sisters are sweet (and smart) with variety in their backgrounds, full of life and heart! I’m no cook myself, but my wife is a spectacular one. We both loved this experience! 5 stars!!

We will be in Osaka from April 7 to April 8. 2 adults and 1 child - age 12. We would like to learn how to make sushi. Is this class available only in the evening? We were hopping to do it around lunch time on April 8, or dinner time on April 7 as the second option. We will be staying at the hotel Integrate Osaka Umeda. Is this close to your studio? Please let me know your thoughts.
