I got to the observatory in the evening as i wanted to view the sunset & the area of Shinsekai. There was about a dozen people in the elevator so wasn't too crowded but when you get to the observatory you realise it quickly becomes...More

Had to rush around the area so I can only say i enjoyed taking some pictures and eating typical Japanese cuisine along the way. Had taken lots of pictures with the cute baby-like statues displayed around the area. They said its for luck somehow. I...More

This Tower is a very special place: it is actually located in the center of the crazy, retro-futuristic ward 'ShinSekai' (lit: new world), and it one of the most traditional symbols of Osaka unique popular culture. At the top floor you will find a very...More

From the moment you enter, everything around makes you spend more money. Attraction shouldn't be so aggressive in sale once you bought ticket. Otherwise is decent place with interesting history and old school feeling.

I did not have the chance to climb it, but I went as close as being below it. Compared to other observations I've been, I felt like it was smaller. Loads of restaurants around the area, so many places to eat!

Reasonably priced and good views over Osaka, not too high so you get a different perspective. If you're in the area you might as well visit.

This is an iconic tower with observation deck in downtown in Osaka. When I visited at noon on the weekend, there was a queue waiting for 40 minutes, so I gave up going up to the observation deck. There was a souvenir shop in the...More

Went here for Billiken! I knew of him because of a video game (Devil Survivor 2). Billiken, the god of things-as-they-ought-to-be, had a mini exhibit there as well as Glico's Pocky. Tickets to the tower can be bought at the basement. The elevator has some...More
