Yeah this place was nice but there's not much left and I just feel like there are more castles that are worth visiting. I came here because I was in the area but I definitely didn't think that it was a must see attraction.
I enjoyed the castle so much, it was great to see it and all the weapons on display. I felt like there wasn't much left inside but it is great to see how the castle was and use my imagination to figure out the rest!

Its literally just a moat, four walls and stairs leading up to a platform where the main castle keep use to be. The main entry gate is still fairly intact and a plaque shows the entire castle complex in it's former glory and provides some...More
Interesting place but I wouldn't say it was amazing it was interesting and quaint for Japan but compared to international castles I wouldn't make a special trip Only to see this. It was nice to be able to walk through it but it's just bare...More
Not much left of it but you can clearly see the lay out as the gates and mounds and walls etc have been rebuilt... the geographic relationship with the close by Samurai district makes a neat package to visit.
