Really cool place to spend an afternoon eating and shopping. Each shop offers something different and there seemed to be something for everyone. Definitely worth a visit.

beautiful section of the old town between kiyomizu dera and yasaka shrine. we came across this part of town whilst walking from our hotel to kiyomizu-dera. walking is best for exploring kyoto and this is a gem!
