The Kimono dressing and tea ceremony were both incredibly educational and fun. My tea master was very patient and knowledgeable. Wonderful experience.

We did the whole experience, kimono wearing, tea ceremony, and origami. It was a real taste of traditional Japanese culture. Staff were friendly knowledgeable and spoke excellent English.

We attended a private cooking class where we learned how to make sushi and tempura. Wonderful experience! The instructor and translator were very nice and put together a fantastic class! The food was delicious and we received recipes to take home with us.

Sorry for the late reply -- we booked this last minute so I completed my reservation and payment on the phone while in Kyoto. They were very accommodating, we did a same-day booking for 2 classes in the afternoon.

We had a private tea ceremony organised by WAK but they are based in Kyoto. I am sure you will be able to find one convenient for you. Hope you enjoy yourself. Japan is a fascinating country.
