We saw the falls from the ropeway on they way to the top station and it was breathtaking. On our next trip we will definitely walk up to it and enjoy a closer look. Well worth the trip.

A nice, upward but short hike up a hill behind Shin Kobe station. The entrance to the path is on the ground floor of the station. The entrance looks like an entrance to a parking lot. Once you get on the path, you walk up...More

This is a fairly easy walk from one of Kobe's main stations (Shin-Kobe). It's about a 40 minute round trip, including enjoying the view. One set of steps are a bit challenging, but most of the path is quite easy. Beware of the fallen leaves,...More

We hadn't heard about these falls until we visited the information centre. A pleasant surprise at the end of a lovely walk to find these falls.

Not far from the hotel, is free but is very hard work if you are going up the mountain! good views and staff are very helpful.

On the lower falls and at Nunobiki Falls, there were groups of artists close to completing their paintings. It was interesting to peek over their shoulders. Part of the adventure of this site is the trek upward, many steps on a steep grade sometimes. The...More
