This modern development is obviously massive. The new buildings are well designed and spacious. The old section is stylish. Good for families to spend one day for various reasons. For overseas tourists, many shops can also be found elsewhere in the world. It could be an interesting half day visit.

Would have to give this 3.5 star as did not spend a lot of time at this place. Due to only 8 hours in Kobe, we instead visited other places in the vicintiy like Kawasaki Good Times. This place is popular with locals with the shopping malls, littered with restuarants. We saw a huge mall which is for children playground... More

Nice scenery especially during night time. There are nearby shopping malls and restaurants in the area. Perfect place to take a stroll while enjoying the sea breeze.

Visited the harborland at night, the lights are so beautiful. In the Mosaic there are foods, restaurants and shops. The park is so beautiful and people take photos there. On the back of the Mosaic there are harbour where people just sit and watch the view. So lovely.

If you are coming from places like Kyoto, Himeji, temples, castles, etc. this is not like that, it is a new area with shopping malls and restaurants, like Odaiba in Tokyo. For us, the reason I visited Kobe and spend some time in Harborland was that from this city our grandparents immigrated to our country. It is quite symbolic. But... More

There are two great parts of town that I like--the herb gardens and kobe harbourland at night. Many great places to eat and walk around here.

The whole harbor is nice enough for a walk around but nothing special really Best thing about it is the view from afar at night time when it's all lit up! If you have dinner or drinks at one of the nice tall towers in town you will get a good view over the harbor like the one attached to... More

There was a lot of construction work going on while we visited. But it's pleasant enough. We went to Kawasaki world, which was betters than I was expecting also.

We stayed at a hotel in the area and wandered over to Harborland.... shopping and restaurants. The views of the ferris wheel and Port Tower lit up at night are beautiful.
